Kabbalah/Cathar/Mary Magdalene Pilgrimage to Spain & South of France
Connecting the Sacred Threads of Kabbalah’s Tree of Life, the Cathar’s Flower of Life and Jesus/Mary Magdalene’s Sacred Marriage Mysteries.
Join us for a 2 week Sacred Adventure
Spain: Toledo, Avila, Girona, Barcelona and South of France: Rennes-le-Chateau, Rennes-le-Bains, Montsegur, Carcassonne
- Walk the streets of Medieval Spain and feel the magic of our mystical past
- Explore the Cathar’s Flower of Life Mysticism and it’s Essene origins
- Connect Tree of Life to the Sacred Marriage teachings of Jesus and Mary
- Awaken the power of Mary Magdalene’s Divine Feminine path
As Kabbalah Teachers and life-long students of the teachings of Jesus and the Divine Feminine energy of Mary Magdalene, we have always been interested in the connection between the Spanish Kabbalists and the Cathars – Christian Gnostics in Southern France. Both Mystery Schools flourished in the Middle Ages between the 12th and 14th Centuries and shared common beliefs that each soul is Divine and can access Spirit through his/her own Gnosis or higher knowledge. The other connection between these 2 great Mystery Schools are the “Sacred Marriage” teachings of Jesus and Mary Magdalene, which we will explore on this sacred adventure!
The Cathars preserved the “Flower of Life” teachings that Jesus and Mary brought to them in Southern France 2,000 years ago and these same teachings are found in the Kabbalistic “Tree of Life” – both offer practices to birth the Christ consciousness within the soul and transpersonal love within community.
On our sacred pilgrimage we explore how the teachings of Jesus and Mary are reflected in the Tree of Life and we will do practices, meditations and rituals to awaken the Christ Consciousness to heal ourselves and the planet.
The purpose of this sacred pilgrimage is to meet like-minded companions and travel together to mystical sites to experience the rich vein of spiritual wisdom and knowledge still living within the medieval stone walls of Toledo, Avila, Girona, Barcelona, Carcassonne and the mystical energy of southern France.
We hope you join us on this Sacred Journey!

The Toledano Tradition of Kabbalah
Megan and Jim are both teachers in the Toledano tradition of Kabbalah, which they learned from Master Kabbalah Teacher, Warren Kenton in London, England. Kabbalah is an ancient line of mysticism that synthesizes Jewish gnosticism and philosophy, reason and revelation, mind and heart wisdom and the sacred masculine and sacred feminine. In the 12th century, Kabbalah emerged in Northern Spain and Southern France as a powerful mystical path with 2 important road maps to enlightenment: the Tree of Life and Jacob’s Ladder. These metaphysical maps were developed in important Schools of the Soul in Girona and in Toledo, Spain.
Toledo was not only a capital city but a cultural and spiritual center where Jews, Christians and Muslims met to exchange information and knowledge in a civilized atmosphere. To meet the needs of those searching for esoteric knowledge, the Mystical Teaching was presented in terms of that time. The great Kabbalistic work, the Zohar, was a product of this period. The reformulation and transmission of Kabbalah went on through the Renaissance and the Age of Reason up to today. Toledano Kabbalah carries on the lineage to update and transmit these teachings for any of our generation who realize that truth is the highest mode of religion.
Day 1 – Saturday May 25 Arrive in Toledo
- stay at Hotel El Greco in the Jewish Quarter
- Jewish Quarter immersion
Toledo in the middle ages was a remarkable city where Muslims, Jews and Christians met to share knowledge of Metaphysics, Medicine, Magic and the Sacred Mysteries. It was here that the European Renaissance began and Kabbalah began to spread from Spain. We will stay in the heart of the magical Jewish Quarter and immerse ourselves in the rich cultural stew. During the 12th and 13th centuries, Toledo was home to an influential school of Kabbalah, which integrated Jewish mysticism with Greek metaphysics and philosophy and was influenced by Christian and Islamic thought. Hence, our lineage is called the Toledano tradition of Kabbalah.
