Healing is possible when you seek restoration of body, heart, mind and spirit.
Healing is possible when you are willing to surrender.
- To the flow of life
- To your truth
- To your expectations
- To your hopes and dreams
- To everything that no longer works
- To everything that no longer makes sense.
Healing is possible when you are willing to surrender to your life exactly the way it is.
Surrendering in this way is profoundly releasing. It releases the entire struggle, the suffering, the misery, the anger and the frustration. Surrendering to what is, is the most direct route to healing I know.
Our guide in this process of healing is Poseidon, the Greek god of the sea who presides over the healing powers of the waters. Poseidon is pictured above on Megan’s 30th sacred robe for Healing.
The waves above his head represent the powerful healing motion of the waters moving back and forth within your body, heart, mind and spirit.
As the waters move back and forth in a figure eight infinity pattern, you can experience clearing and cleaning and washing away whatever is keeping you from total healing.
You can return to your SELF and to your equilibrium. You can return to your original blueprint, the perfect template of who you are and who you be!
Here is a guided imaginary journey to activate your healing
- Imagine you are swimming in a sea cave in the Mediterranean. The water is warm and there is sunlight pouring into the entrance of the cave, illuminating the entire sea cave. You see there is a tiny beach at the end of the cave. You swim to the end of the cave, bathed in soft light, and walk up onto the little shore and sit down comfortably.
- As you sit you listen to the soothing sound of the rocks surging up onto the tiny shore and then pulled back by the gentle tide. The sound of warm salt water on rocks tumbling back and forth, back and forth. It is like a rock lullaby, rocking you gently this way and that. As you listen to the sound, you calm your mind. Breathe deeply in and out and feel your mind slowing and calming and relaxing. Your entire body is now relaxed and serene. You are preparing to surrender to the healing process.
- Imagine now that some form of Poseidon comes gently into the cave. He has brought with him several of his healers to help with your healing today. Poseidon holds out his hands and invites you back into the warm Mediterranean water, clear and translucent blue.
- You come into the water and Poseidon has you lay in the water so you are floating easily on top of the water. You close your eyes and surrender yourself into Poseidon’s strong arms. You feel safe and held. You hear the sound of the rocks rolling up and down the tiny shore, rocking you in a watery lullaby.
- For your healing, allow yourself to surrender totally to your life. Surrender to each situation that feels hard for you at this time. As you surrender, you are rocked and healed by Poseidon’s healers. Feel the water washing through every cell of your being. Your old patterns are washing away. With the motion of the gentle waves, imagine all your old patterns washing, moving, clearing and dissolving in the great sea.
- Your body is being healed. Your emotions are being healed. Your heart is being healed. Your mind is being healed. Your spirit is being healed……
- When you feel complete, you thank Poseidon and the healers for your healing today. Remember you can return to your healing cave anytime.
Keep practicing this meditation and you will remember to surrender to your life and to the flow of life all around you.
