This workshop brought together all the creative, simple pieces needed to make meaningful and intentional healing rituals. It was a joyful experience. My intention in taking this course was to heal and celebrate individually and in community; to lean into my role as a spiritual leader by incorporating ritual in my personal practice and community offerings. The experience accomplished that and so much more.
I learned how to structure ritual, how to hold a safe container and how to keep the energy moving. I also learned how to be a creative leader who can improvise and be responsive to whatever is coming up in the moment during a ritual.

The Healing Rituals Facilitator Training addresses a gap in my experience and my seminary training – that of leading inspired, embodied, creative rituals. I did not know what to expect when I signed up for the training; my trust in Megan and Jim as teachers and ritual leaders allowed me to enter into the experience thoroughly, with an open heart. I am simply astounded by the skills I have already learned on a deep level, skills I will now embody as an Interfaith Minister and Hospice Chaplain. My work as a companion to those facing transitions will be enriched immeasurably and my own sense of self as a holder of sacred power, responsibility, and grace, is transformed. I could not have imagined what this training would bring to me and how it would transmute what I brought to it. It worked! I felt empowered! I recognize that I have the spiritual energy and creative ability to lead. I was most appreciative of the experiential part where we learned to create and prepare rituals. We worked with a partner to create different rituals and it was great to see the creative psychodramas and rituals each pair came up with.
